very spacious,bright,cheerfull,well equipted. Only concern was the twin beds, the mattresses were over the hill but more importantly the bed frames were unstable. We will be back as will others that stayed with us.
We love S. Padre and have been going there for vacation since out honeymoon there 24 years ago. We have stayed in a few houses some bigger, some not, but this one was good. Perhaps you should switch one of the 2 queen size beds in the one room for one of the twins in the other bedroom. It would be more couple friendly. Also I guess we never realized no additional toilet paper or paper towels are offered. We quickly ran out of toilet paper with 7 people, but it is stated in the rental agreement that no extra is provided. Loved the pool and BBQ. We had a blast as we always do.
We had a wonderful time at Casa de Chavo, having our own pool was the best part!!
Also, the other windows were missings some slats. Other than that it was a nice house for a family to stay. We plan on coming back.
Overall we had a great time at this location. The staff is fabulous. the house needs a little work, painting, weed pulling and new living room furniture. I cleaned the floors on a regular basis but I had to buy a broom and dust pan. A vacuum would be helpful.
Overall this is a great rental propery its very cozy,quiet, and convenience place. I recommend this place to anyone. oh the name is Klein not Glenn
this property is rated for a spring break destination but was very welcoming for my family and our party.the condo is spacious and the master and second bedroom mattresses were very comfortable. the location to the beach was an easy walk but go early because the access fills up quick. the property management were very nice and helpful. the property itself was clean but parking was a big problem: there is very min. space. another problem was the condition of the private pool; the water was very dirty. the whole first day was spent with dingy pool water. it had not been cleaned in anticipation of our arrival. the next day I contacted the mgmt at 9am and the maintenance did not arrive til 3pm. apparently there was a problem with the filter.VERY BAD!it finally cleared up on the evening of the 2nd day. we made the best of it but honestly expected better service for the price we paid! I would consider another stay as long as all amenities were in order.
I liked it very much, it has a lot of space and it is very clean. The pool was a bit cold and we couldn't get in but that was the only problem.

Pool pump was not working, the pool was dirty and not well maintained had to spend more time on the beach than what I was expecting to.Other than that stay was very satisfying I enjoyed it very much.The house was clean and well maintained.
Loved the tile floors throughout for easy cleanup.
